At the launch event on Tuesday, besides the unveiling of the Surface Pro 4, Surface Book and Lumia 550, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL showcased what can Windows 10 for Mobile do. Microsoft is counting on Windows 10, to help triumph a superior share of the market which consists of tablets and smartphones, which are dominated by Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung. The Microsoft Surface Book may probably be the laptops that will fiercely rival Apple’s Macbook. It is already available to preorder from Microsoft’s online store.

The Surface Book, which is a silver metal laptop with a distinct hinge, includes a 13.5-inch display, with a pixel density of 267PPI. However, the company did not reveal a release date of Windows 10 Mobile for existing Lumia devices. For the Microsoft Lumia 950, you will have to cough up $549, while the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will burn a $649 hole in your pocket respectively.

The Surface Pro 4 will start at $900 and will ship on October 26, with pre-orders beginning on October 7. It has also launched a successor to its Surface Pro devices, the Surface 4, which features a sixth-generation Intel Skylake processor and costs £749. It also has 16GB of RAM and 1TBB storage.

Although Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 Mobile will be released to Lumia devices in December, it does not mean all Lumia smartphones will get the software upgrade in that month.

Surface Book weighs 1.6 pounds and is 7.7 mm thin. He didn’t indicate whether or not it will pursue a Surface phone, but did drop hints about Microsoft’s overall product line-up.

Microsoft also said its new tablet and smartphones will come with Windows Hello an automatic biometric sign-in option introduced earlier this year. The device’s camera offers Rich Capture, a triple LED natural flash, and a 20-megapixel sensor that helps to eliminate motion blur.
